German snuff bottles have been used for over a century by all walks of life across the German states, but are especially associated with the Southern German speaking regions like Bavaria. Traditionally, these were made of ceramic, and stopped with a tight-fitting cork - perfect for the moist, fatted, coarse-ground snuffs preferred by those jolly people.
This snuff bottle (schnupfflasche in German) is a working reproduction, meant to be both an object of art, and an object of utility. The flask is made from durable resin, with a double coat of paint on the exterior and a thick food-safe coating on the inside. They are hard wearing, easy to clean, and absolutely elegant.
I'm very proud of these bottles, and I'm even more proud that I get to present them to you!
Available in two colors: cream, and gold.
